Profound thoughts

"The existence of fool's gold doesn't mean there isn't real gold. And the existence of hypocrites who misuse religion doesn't mean there isn't a God in heaven who loves his children and sent his Son to die for them. Never confuse confessing Christians with Christ. The former will disappoint you but Christ never will. " by Stephanie Grace Whitson
Today is my Dad's 5th wedding anniversary. I remember the day he remarried after losing my Mom to cancer nearly 8 years ago now this coming April. Keeley and I flew to Mesa, AZ. for the wedding while Josh and Bruce stayed home and attended the homeschool B.Ball tourney in Indy. Tomorrow I will celebrate my 52nd birthday.....where has the time gone? In less than 2 months I will add a new member to my family as Josh takes Jessica to be his wife on March 24th. I'm excited about this new phase of life I'm entering. I guess that means the possibility of grandchildren lurks on the distant horizon.
I want to cherish the memories and pass on a legacy to my children and future grandchildren. I want to redeem the time and make each moment count for Christ.
